Hospitalization

Clinica IMQ Virgen Blanca has 2 hospitalization floors, a surgical day hospital and a medical hospital -endoscopy unit. In addition, there is a specific rehabilitation area and another for haemodialysis located in areas close to the hospitalization rooms.

Access for patients being hospitalized and those who come to visit them, will be by via the main entrance, located on calle Maestro Mendiri no. 2.

Next to this entry is the patient admissions department, the IMQ office, information desk, outpatient consultations, as well as the cafeteria

On the 1st floor is the surgical day hospital, as well as the surgical block with six operating rooms and RECOVERY/PACU where you will receive accurate information on schedules and rules to follow.

On the first floor is the endoscopy unit, medical day hospital and haemodialysis department.

The second and third floors are general hospitalization floors, both surgical and medical. Also on the second floor is the rehabilitation department equipped with gym and examination rooms, where treatments are performed, aimed at improving the patient's functional ability.

  • The Surgical Suite has: 5 major surgery operating rooms, and 1 minor surgery operating room. All of the operating rooms at Clinica IMQ Virgen Blanca are equipped with the latest technology, test projection screens, towers for surgery, etc. The block includes a Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with capacity for 9 patients, the examination rooms surround a nursing post to constantly monitor the patients.

  • On the lower floor of the building there is the cafeteria and beside this is the restaurant for the general public. For hygiene reasons, we advise that food and drinks served in the cafeteria be consumed there, and also that food from the cafeteria not be given to patients, however, always check with the healthcare staff.
