Where to go

If you come to the clinic to undergo surgery or be hospitalized, you must enter through the main door on your left and go to the information desk to report your arrival, where you will be given instructions to follow.

Documents to bring:

  • National identity document or passport.
  • Extended admission notice issued by your doctor with the duly completed documentation.
  • If you belong to a benefit society or insurance company you need to bring a referral note that authorizes your admission and your Member ID card. We recommend that you get in touch with your insurer to keep find out about the coverage of your policy.
  • Copy of the Informed Consent signed by the patient and the physician for the surgical procedure that you are to receive.

In the admissions department they will give you an identification bracelet that not must be removed until you leave the Centre. Admissions staff will accompany you to the designated room where they will explain the services that have.

Stay

During your stay you will be cared for by a team of professionals whose aim is to improve your health. In the room the nursing staff will receive you and will explain the operation of the unit as well as everything you need to feel comfortable on the day that you are going to be admitted.

The clinic has 68 individual use rooms, distributed among floors 2 - 3 and 4. All of the rooms have a full bathroom, TV, paid Wifi and safety deposit box

Also, it is equipped with a day surgery hospital surgical, with 10 examination rooms, a medical day hospital and a resuscitation-PARU equipped with 9 examination rooms

  • Hospitalized patients must follow the diet recommended by your doctor. The approximate meal schedule is as follows:

    • Breakfast: 8:45 a.m.
    • Lunch: 1:00 p.m.
    • Snack: 5:00 p.m.
    • Dinner: 8:00 p.m.

Discharge

Medical discharge is usually before noon, when the patients are ready to leave the room.

Your doctor will give you a discharge report (provisional or final) with precise instructions and medication and care that you should follow after you leave the clinic. Before leaving the clinic, contact (or ask a family member to do so)the Administration/Accounts Department located on the ground floor in order to finalize the administrative paperwork; this way you can pay the invoice if you have extra expenses not included in your policy coverage.

In the event you decide to leave the clinic without medical discharge, you must sign a voluntary discharge document. We remind you that it is important to take the discharge report to your family doctor or in case you need to return to this centre.
